Course Description:
System Administrators need an in depth understanding of the industry standards used to accomplish Storage Resource Management (SRM). The HP approach to SRM is Storage Essentials (SE). This course provides training for the HP Storage Essentials (SE) - Storage Resource Management (SRM) software. The course includes:
•An overview of the product features common to Storage Essentials
•An introduction to the Storage Essentials (SE) architecture and how it integrates with other software
•A description of the user interface and how to use it
•How to install and manage the CIM extensions and discover storage system resources
•How to configure and set up the software components for storage resource management including capacity, performance, applications, user security and reporting
Course contains hands-on laboratories that correlate with the lecture materials.
This course is limited to eight (8) individual PC environments. Over eight participants will result in shared PC environments.
